What are some games that have changed your life / perspective / tastes in general?
I played Rez for the first time about a year ago and I haven't played a game quite like it since: the OST is phenomonal and the rhythm-game rail-shooter mechanic is refreshing to a genre which is as dead as it is beautifully nuanced and colorful and expressive.

I've recently been playing GTA 4 and it's pretty good. Has anyone played 5? I know I'm kind of late the party on both these games, but I think they're great. Just playing around in the world is kind of relaxing and refreshing. I spent the past hour or so just dicking around in a helicopter and flying it under bridges or whatever. Are there any games kind of like this that I can play when I'm done with it?
